What months do you host events?

Our barn is seasonal - May to October.

What’s the maximum capacity?

We can accommodate up to 220 guests in the banquet room with a dance floor.

How do I reserve my date?

To reserve your wedding date, we require a signed rental agreement along with a non-refundable deposit of $3000. For other event types, we have lesser deposit options.

Do you offer vendor recommendations?

We recommend reputable vendors to our clients based on their exceptional work, and never accept kickbacks. Please inquire if you would like recommendations for photographers, music, floral designers, horse & carriage, live painter and more.

What is your catering policy?

We do all the catering on site as well as bar service. This includes full cooking and serving staff, and at least 1 bartender. We are NYS Department of Health Approved we have a NYS Liquor License.

What catering services do you offer?

We do all on site catering. You have the options of buffet, family style and stations. For smaller groups, we may offer plated service.

What bar services do you offer?

Hosted, consumption and cash depending on the day of the week. All services are provided by our staff.

What do we need for insurance?

The wedding couple/event host are required to obtain event insurance for no less than $1 million in liability, listing Olde Tater Barn as additionally insured.

Are there hotels in the area?

There are choices for guest lodging in the area! From 2 chain hotels to a wide assortment of beautiful Bed & Breakfasts, private homes, and charming vacation cabins. We can recommend local accommodations based on your event style and guests needs.

Can I have real candles at my event?

The safety of our guests, staff and vendors are of the highest importance to us. Due to fire risk, no open flames are allowed inside the main barn. We recommend battery operated candles.

Do you have more than one event per day?

Each host will have private use of the facilities for their event.

Do you provide time for wedding rehearsals?

Yes, we will schedule a time that will work for your event and our event schedule. We do recommend having a wedding rehearsal.

Are you ADA accessible?

We are fully ADA accessible.
